My name is Christina Ledbetter and I am a junior at Washburn University majoring in Health Information Technology and Health Services Administration. This is only my second year at Washburn as I transferred in when I moved here and made a decision on what I wanted to do for the future. I previously was an early childhood major, so a lot of my credit hours will not apply to my degree.
At the end of September, my husband and I will be married for two years, together for a total of five! Crazy to think how fast time has gone by. This will be a busy semester for me, we are expecting our first daughter on October 14th! We finished up our nursery a few weeks ago, as he also started school this week. He is in his second year of the MBA program at Washburn.
In what spare time I have left from school I work, full-time. I am an assistant director at a child care center which is located across from Washburn. I completed the necessary requirements to become director qualified through my course work for early childhood. I truly have a passion for children and cannot wait to be a mother.
