One of the classes that I struggled greatly with would be general psychology. I did excellent with adolescent and childhood, but general never worked for me. I went through a series of three professors until I was able to pass it. The first time I did not have a great interest in the course nor the motivation to do well. I ended up with withdrawing from the class. The second attempt was interesting needless to say. I had to withdraw from the course because I had trouble comprehending the teacher and relating to the material with him. The third attempt was at a community college in a night course, with a licensed psychologist, who used her everyday work experiences to relate the material. I ended up passing the course with an A. For me I needed the day to day experiences instead of the scientific facts and theories to apply and comprehend the information. I can say that it did not create enough interest though to take anymore psychology classes...
